DIY Basket Wall Tutorial

This, once empty, wall in our family room would catch my eye on a daily basis (not in the good way)! It continuously jumped out at me, begging for some personality! I just love the warmth and coziness that this dark grey wall color brings to this family space, but the bare wall above the couch was always missing something.

A morning of thrifting and a trip to Goodwill solved all of my problems! For a total of $8 the wall was finally complete, adding all of the texture, warmth and contrast that I was hoping for!

The video below shows my process for styling a basket wall or any wall decor. I always lay out my anticipated configuration on the ground prior to putting holes in the wall. I typically start in the center and work my way out, using my largest piece first!
